Is there any person you admire?
It can be a real person or a movie character... a soccer player, a politician, a scientist, an artist, an engineer... you name it.
In this blog post I want you to tell the class about that person you admire, tell us some things about his/her life and why you admire him or her.
I remind you that you CAN'T COPY/PASTE info from Wikipedia, or any other website/encyclopedia/book... just tell us what YOU KNOW about that special person.
You must publish a photo or video of the person (it can be a youtube link if you prefer), so everybody can know who your favourite person is.

ResponderEliminarSteven Gerrard is an English professional football player who plays for Liverpool FC, he also is part of the England National Team.
The reason why I like him is because his playing style, the shape and quality of his passes, his attitude in the field is admirable. His best quality is the long distance shot, which is the form where he has scored most of his goals.
His class as a player has taken him to be considered the third best player in Europe in 2005 after Frank Lampard (2 °) and Ronaldinho (1 °). That year was when Livepool won his fifth Champions League defeating in that historic final against Milan going up three goals against and winning on penalties (where Steven scored the 1-3 with his head, starting the comeback). In that edition this player was voted as MVP of the tournament.
This year, his team has won the Carling Cup adding it to 10 other trophies (6 national and 4 international) and waiting for the final of the FA cup. In total he has received 34 individual awards.

Hi again, the person than admire is a master of martial arts, philosopher and actor, his nickname is “Bruce Lee” (original name Jun Fan Lee), I admire this person, for his philosophy of life, that was, constant growing, confront and beat fears. This philosophy for me is excepcional. Bruce Lee said a phrase : “Be water my friend” , that means , the water can flow or it can crash, without hold back. Bruce Lee lived under this philosophy, for every day of his life with passion, showed his hard work and courage. He created a new style of combat, that is called “Jeet Kune Do” and means “the punch that intercept”. His discipline and determination, It can explain with the next phrase : “Using no way as way, having no limitation as limitation ”. That´s all, bye…..

ResponderEliminarToday i want to talk to you about a person that i really admire, his name's Edson Arantes do Nascimento, worldwide known as Pelé, "O Réi" (The King).
He's a retired Brazilian soccer player, is the youngest player to win a World Cup and he scored over 1200 goals during his career. He won 3 World Cups and many others tittles. He played only in three teams, Santos FC, Brazil national team and Cosmos FC and is considered, some people think it's Maradona, the greatest player in history.
Pelé isn't just an ex footballer, but a great person too. He lives around soccer participating in important decisions of FIFA, CBF (Confederação Brasileira de Futebol) and Santos FC. He travels around the world, especially to Africa, looking for poor kids and gives them soccer balls, play with them and takes them to attend a soccer game, all through UNICEF. He was appointed "World's Citizen" by UN and UNESCO Ambassador. He hasn't forgotten where came from, is a honest person and a very good friend. Sometimes meets with his old friends to remember good times. I think Pelé is one of those people that should have a long life to continue helping World.

Well, I had planned to talk about Eddie Vedder, the singer of Pearl Jam, but the last time that I wrote in the blog I spoke about him.
Then I’ll talk about another person that I admire with all my heart. I don’t admire this person for what he been. I admire this person for what he did for the world.
This person is the founder and creator of the Scout Movement and his name is Robert Baden Powell.
I can tell several bad things about this man, as he was a fascist military and a discriminator man, I can tell some rumors that he was a child molester, and I hope is not true.
But what I am really sure about Robert Baden Powell is that really made a big change for our world, because in the movement, the young people learn to care and love for the nature, they learn to protect their comrades and brothers, and learn to share with everyone and be optimistic.
The Scout movement is massified, and now there are only five countries in the world where there is no Scout.
Finally. I want to emphasize that Baden Powell before he died said something that really touch my heart: “We must leave the world better than we found it”

The books that I read of Asimov I liked because yours histories me back to the future that some day can be, I have more interest in the science, was the man very intelligent, not only was writer his passion the science, back in the chemical.
One of the book that more I liked is the "The Gods Themselves", because in this book not speak the robots as other books, otherwise of beings from an alternate universe.

Hi guys , i'll write about my favorite anime character, his name is naruto xD, well he's the principal character of the Naruto's serie ,i like him because when he was born he had a many problem while was growing ,the people every day discriminate him but he never gives up for to be accepted for their. also Naruto every day fights with many problems and enemies of his life for get the objective and he is betrayed by his supposed friends.

ResponderEliminarI think his music is at least, remarkable. He was able to compose symphonys of a great harmonic level, where every instrument appears in the precise moment, with the perfect note.
Besides of his musical mastery (technically speaking), he has the ability to make me feel emotions that are harder to transmit in other ways.His music gives me goosebumps, and I think I'm not the only one. Because not every musician has such great level of deepness,that can be easily fekt by anyone.Beethoven was incredibly talented, and this becomes even more admirable if we think that he created many of his symphonies even at the time he began to lost his hearing capacity. That's why I chose this person, but don't forget about Mozart, a great composer who was Beethoven's inspiration.

Hello everyone, this time I will talk about a person I admire.
ResponderEliminarThe truth is that it was difficult to decide which is the person I most admire.
Well I will talk about one of my favorite singers: Gustavo Cerati. I could describe in one sentence: "He is simply a poet."
I like his songs from when I was in Soda Stereo, but what I admire most is his solo stage, I feel him as a soloist sings from the heart.
There are many songs that I identify. I like his lyrics and music that radiates passion, feelings, maybe just to hear their guitars.
Currently, Gustavo is not in good health. He spent two years in a coma, he is sleeping. While asleep, also teaches us the will to live and have kept it for two years to fighting the disease.

Hi, to the person I admire is John Grisham. He's a writer to the police chronic, I love your books because are very interesting and exciting. The book that I like is "Testigo Mudo", is about a serial murderer, and the protagonist is a cop who finds a child (his is a dumb) in the house of murder, and his is the key to finding the murderer.

The person that i admire is Jimmy Page. His original name is James Patrick Page and he was the guitar player of British band of 70´s "Led Zeppelin" that formed when was a joung.
I admire to Jimmy Page because is one of bests Guitar players around the world and changed the way of play guitar, particulary the tipic blues guitar using a arc of violoncello for play the electric guitar and implementing overdrive efects with synthesizer for generate psychedelic sounds.
He was the founder of led zeppelin.
His music carrer began when was the bass player of "The Yardbird" band, with a Eric Clapton on guitar that after Jimy Page replacement.
Jimy Page now has 68 years old, live in england and was chosen an a representative of english culture in the presentation ceremony of the olimpic games in london 2012.
